So on Halloween night something extraordinary happened to two friends of mine. My friends, we’ll call them Sonny and Cher, were walking home from the local watering hole when they saw an amazing sight: a large, neon lit green door appeared before them. Now being of an adventurous mind, both Sonny and Cher decided that not exploring this odd door and its contents would be a big mistake. So together they pushed open the door and met their destiny. The strange land the two stumbled into was awash in bright colors, foreign sounds, and savory smells. Sonny and Cher slowly made their way through the seemingly endless rooms of this cosmos land where the aroma of long ago eaten mushrooms and berries permeated. After exploring one strange room of shining white glass and water, they stumbled into a room containing some of the creatures of this strange land. With the creatures being in what appeared to be a deep slumber, Sonny removed a lock of hair from one of the smaller creatures with a blade he acquired for safety. With proof of their adventure being in hand, the duo decided that they should try and return to their home land. But try as they might, they could not find the neon green door in which they entered. After their futile attempts at escape, the two decided to rest for a few minutes before they continued the search. With that, the two drifted off. Dreaming dreams in a dream land. The screaming woke them up. Standing over them was a teenage girl with a very lopsided haircut. As Sonny and Cher looked around, the small apartment looked much more normal. They also saw the door. As they scrambled out the door and down the street, the screaming seemed to follow them all the way home.
