I think, I sweat, I work
Words onto a page And then release my toils To the uncaring world. Only to hear some say Inspired! Delightful! I loved it! Or Drek! Insipid! I hated it! But not why or how or what. It’s painful not to hear About my babies in detail How this phrase inspired Or that phrase flopped. Inspired by this quote from Maya Angelou: "Some critics will write 'Maya Angelou is a natural writer' - which is right after being a natural heart surgeon."
