Character Sketch: Knight Sherriff —Sir Bannah
Height: 6’
Weight: 180lbs
Hair: Sandy
Eyes: Blue
Skin: Pale
Age: 50’ish
A lean man, with his teenage daughter, and a young wife (not much older than his daughter) and young son. He lives at Wendron Castle and administers the King's justice in the region. He has a brown beard shot through with grey. The early mornings are hard as he struggles with his arthritis, but he spends his afternoons on horse, practicing at the lists, or keeping his sword arm exercised. He maintains a militia of over 400 men, in the king's name. He is a man struggling to maintain his honor and his land. He is continually fighting off bandit raids on his tenants farms, and investigating why there are so many tavern brawls and social unrest in his towns and villages of late. His family have protected the forest for 10 generations, but recently there have been numerous instances of burning and unlawful felling of its trees. He is hard pressed to maintain law in his own land, without hunting down the people responsible for destroying the trees. The elves are just a myth to him. Something one of his ancestors spoke of his journals. He has never seen one, nor heard of anyone else who had. If they lived in the forest during his ancestor’s time, they have all gone by now.
