Standing On The Outside

I'm standing on the outside, looking in.
What I find is the story of a man broken.

I see the tears beading upon his heart.
I stand watching the pieces drift apart.

I'm standing on the outside, looking in.
What more I see, is the spirit of a marvel being!

I see him broke like a glass of wine,
a million pieces shattered throughout time.

I want to reach out to take him in as a part of me.
I want to breath into him life, for a world to see!

I'm standing on the outside, looking in.
So take me in but slowly trusting my hand.

I'll bid away your sorrows and gift you the sun.
I'll lift you up holding you until time comes undone.

I see you inside out like you see me, through to end,
because you're standing on the outside too, looking in.
