Solo

Solo

I was never meant to be solo.

One day when he is gone,
I will learn to take care of myself.

I won’t have to wait for anyone.

I can take my time, I am in no hurry.
I was never meant to be solo.

But I know someday I will.

For now I ignore the warning signs and
Pretend that all is fine,
I was never meant to be solo.
