Perfect World
As I awake from serene slumber.

As a blind man opens his eyes,
Captivated by the symphony of
Dancing angels; he cannot distinguish
Black from white.

All paths merge to a single purpose:
The boulevard of existence.
What is one from another,
When one is also the other?

Childlike innocences flows
Elegantly from gleaming meadows
To glistening brooks,
Exhaling from within subdued souls.

A realisation blooms:
In this perfect world, secluded
From judgement and prejudice;
I am dreaming of you.

Oblivion.

As I awake from serene slumber,
Our fingers lay locked in silent embrace.
Grasping tightly from a
Faded night of forbidden passion.

As your warm breath stills softly upon
My blissful smile,
A rush of overwhelming euphoria
Dominates my peaceful mind.

At that moment when your restful eyes
Expose to the crimson daybreak,
Hearts intertwined in affectionate eternity;
I am truly alive.

An epiphany beckons truth:
In the perfect world, secluded
From judgement and prejudice;
I was dying without you.
