Or: Look before you leap

The air up here is crisp and smells very clean. The clear blue sky allows

me to see for miles it seems. From way up here it’s hard to think back a

couple of hours when I found the lamp. The first wish coming true made me

so unbelievably happy. Just like a story book, rub a lamp and a genie will

grant you two wishes. I could actually see through walls, just like a super-

hero. This lamp was going to turn things around for me. I was going to use it

to do some good. Too bad about my second wish, though. The lamp and

genie tricked me. I wished to be up in the sky like a bird, and poof! I was up

there like a majestic bald eagle. Too bad I forgot to mention being able to fly.

Now as the lush green Earth gets closer, I have had time to reflect on my

blunder. The air no longer seems as crisp. The green ground is closer now.
