ShrinkRPG #1: The New, New World  [GC]
It's 2050 and all hell has broken loose.
by Roberta

Well, if you're here then you must be wondering about this so-called 'ShrinkRPG' thing this author has been painstakingly slaving away at for many hours. To introduce the idea; generally an ambitious project in which character development takes the helm and you (yes, you) are placed inside a character's mind, with a nice little stats box that looks just like this:

BERT
Leadership Level I
Health Points: 100/100
Current Height: 5'10''
Powers: N/A

The format is understandable enough; this is Bert's statistics, Bert being the hypothetical main character you play. 'Leadership Level I' refers to the skillset Bert has in that field - upgrades go up to Level VIII, each one earning the character new powers or advantages. Health points are at top level because Bert hasn't been harmed - but as he sustains more injuries, his HP will decrease in numbers dependant on how vicious the injury was. His current height is a sign of how tall he is, whether his stature has been affected by an outside factor or whether nothing has changed. The 'powers' field is what will add another dimension to the story; over time, characters can accummulate skills, or powers, from defeating opponents, finding lost treasure or upgrading up a level. There are a fair number of powers in this game, ranging from 'Invisibility' to 'Selfsizer', all of which last a total of 5 chapters after they are activated.

Another plus in these interactives is the ability to form a team. Sometimes, people you come across may want to join you in your quest; friends, strangers or even giantesses. When they do so, their stats are grouped with yours and will be shown at the start of every chapter in a similar template, as depicted in this next example:

BERT
Leadership Level I
Health Points: 100/100
Current Height: 5'10''
Powers: N/A
SOPHIA [Friend]
Fitness Level II, Leadership Level III
Health Points: 140/140
Current Height: 5'09''
Powers: Invincibility, Suggestion

You are limited to 4 characters in a team. You also cannot replace team members, though when somebody dies their slot is freed up. Hope that explains everything; need any more help, just ask.
