NEW PROMPT: Write a short story or poem about finding a tiny dragon trapped inside a glass ball. Do you release it or not? What do you do, and what happens when you do it.

MY MYSTERY GLASS BALL

Was digging through my hubby's junk; found a mys'try glass ball--
the type found in museum stores, but this was not at all
what I expected, there to find; this showed a small dragon,
after a brave fast inspection, I saw she was breathin'!
I carefully chipped off the glass and took her out to play!
That act was strange, I do admit: new pet for me today!!
She had an eerie, slimy glow; she brightly glittered pink.
I swear I heard her tummy gro'wl; she wanted food, I think!
My cats were highly curious--they thought she was a mouse!
And, when the hubby saw her glow, he threw her from the house!
She came back in all shivery; she wanted to stay near!
And so I tried to keep her safe; to keep her warm in here
I last saw the tiny dragon fly past our bedroom door
and head into the dark kitchen--she wanted to eat more!
