Waiting
How much longer for goodness sake,
on his arrival will it take.
I've read from Genesis to Revelations
trusting he'd save all nations.
But what I found chilled my soul,
unworthy was I and all alone.
This can't be, there must be some mistake
for momma told me, 'on him we must wait'.
In her final hour did her eyes behold
his blessed face?
If all these things I've read are true
take me now, why should I wait
on you?
My tears flowed like the river Nile.
Screamed I did,
“You said I was your child!”
“My faith is strong, to you my life I gave!”
“Yet you'd leave me to a fiery grave?”
On my face I fell with arms open wide.
“Lord have mercy please tell me why?”
"Peace...be still.”
His voice quenched to my soul.
“For in my arms
your life I still hold.
Beloved I have not forgotten you.
I've been right here listening, watching and
most of all loving you.
I can't say I'm pleased with all you've done,
there's still lost souls that need to be won.
So I charge 'you' my child with this task.
For your place beside me you'll win at last.
Dry your eyes rejoice in your fate.
Nations... I know their final date.
Whoa... unto you who live not for my sake."
“I tell YOU now... GO TO HELL
AND WAIT"
God Bless You
