Economic and Ecological Solution

A while ago I wrote and shared a summary of the extent to which I understood economics at the time, and I regret the extent to which the work was incomplete. In that shared note I invited my friends and family to buy silver and gold. The intention, however it was stated, was to switch to real, tangible commodity wealth. Bundles of a variety of commodities are better than reserves in only one commodity. I'd advise against commodity stock through this upcoming economic transition from fiat money to various forms of commodity money as stock has the risk of being worth the paper it is printed on. Take no risk: be able to hold commodity wealth in your hands.

"Only goods and services pay for goods and services,"... I forget who said that. It's a great principle, together with other great principles:
- our secrets are what kill us,
- neither a borrower nor a lender be,
- forgive your enemy,
- whatever happened, something else also happened,
- create a new future for yourself by re-narrating the past (ie: fix the past, solve its problems),
- guangxi flow happens first before commodity wealth flow,
- trade in services to get from a starting position to be able to trade in commodities,
- grow a garden, love the earth,
- "Quick or Dead: Choose" ~ Joseph LeDoux.

These principles, indeed cliches in some sense, may guide us through those days when we wake to find that what we thought was fiction was fact and that what we believed was fact, was perhaps illusory. The leaders of our nations, all of them, including politicians, royalty, dictators and despots, have collectively met the conversation which stops all past leadership practices. In these past 200 or so years, we have engaged in a brief economic war upon our biosphere and the thumper of it is that we are unable to say we're sorry to the biosphere in order to fix this, and we are unable to bribe the biosphere, we are unable to lobby it, and we are unable to put the biosphere over a barrel to force it to accept our current international economic policies. The sad fact is that regardless of anything the leaders of our nations do and regardless of what the leaders of our multinational corporations and international financial entities do, our excessively taxed biosphere seems inert before all traditional persuasive (fear-based) efforts, implacably adjusting itself in measured response to our economy. What part of dead is hard for our various leaders to understand?

This is an open letter. Responding to the call for a global economic and ecological solution, one must first analyze the whole world and ask both, “What went wrong?” and “What was missing?” Only via this line of inquiry does a mathematical solution become available. Readily, however discretely (1), throughout the world is the observable fact that without mathematics, physics and engineering, society and civilization collapse back to the Stone Age. This adequately demonstrates in fulfillment of what objective we therefore henceforth include mathematics in economic and other global solutions – with mathematics included in the solution, solved problems have an absence of causing new problems to exist (2). Without mathematics in the solution, all our efforts fail.

The mathematical solution is the observation that Basic Logic, previously erroneously thought to be binary, is actually ternary. Simply, there are positive values, there are negative values, and there is a special number in the middle called zero. Equivalently, Aristotle left nothing out and the solution is to put it back in. The Cartesian coordinate system (R2) lets us see that there are two valid interpretations for zero. Consider, for example, that zero-risk is obtained either by inaction or by fully correct action.

Human conversation, on every topic, has traditionally been consistent with binary logic and only a minority of humans have been using ternary logic this past century or before. The world is an aggregate conversation composed of all human conversations. The world has traditionally been a binary conversation, and the solution is to have it be a ternary conversation. This solution transcends culture, ideology, all areas of academic disciplines and business expertise, languages and history. Furthermore this is a mathematical solution: via implementation the problem disappears without causing a new and bigger problem.

The key is to see that the word not, in loose language, is ambiguous. Not-A means any of:
- the opposite of A,
- the set complement of A,
- a single element in the set complement of A (i.e.: something that is different),
- the absence of formation of A, and
- the positive construction of A in negative-space reality having consequence in positive-space reality.

Mathematicians are familiar with existence and non-existence proofs. This is part of the work we do. We also optimize. Mathematically speaking, the value that has been missing from logic, human language, culture, economics and governance, is zero, which is the additive identity and the multiplicative annihilator in all real and complex fields. The rest of this letter demonstrates some applications of the above solution.


With respect to last year’s World Economic Forum keynote speaker Vladimir Putin’s speech, responsive to some of his points:

Every world issue will fail to be resolved without the full participation of the world’s ordinary citizens. My solution identifies what fails to exist (among other identifications) and is absent of information regarding how best to collapse the current fictional money system that has circulated for an excessive length of time, therefore I defer to Vladimir Putin’s wisdom, judgment and generosity and offer my mathematical strategies, optimization and compassion for the global financial system collapse during 2010 – as rapidly as is practical – and for the simultaneous implementation of the viable system upgrade.

We have the absence of managed risk. All so-called managed risk amounts to gambling, whether it is done in a casino, in the stock market, as a bank or as a corporation selling goods in inventory. We have the presence of zero risk practice. Rather than “housing the public health,” we rephrase this to: conserving and developing the public and economic health. We concur that we exist in co-existence agreements; what there is to do is to have an absence of military shield, an absence of protective trade barriers, and reduction of missiles; no military cooperation with the economy; having the economy’s currency flow through the governments’ accounts is inefficient and exhaustible and therefore another model of government’s relationship with the economy is to be developed and implemented. Every form of currency is the property of the economy and not the government. Hoarded debts, hoarded wealth and hoarded inventory all represent a form of stagnation that is unhealthy. The new and correctly functioning relationship between government and the economy will be dynamic, mutually responsive, naturally attractive, balance and symmetrical, and promote ecological and economic sustainable growth for all people in our biosphere.

The next financial system will have transparency, will never again have virtual money and includes real values (with zero) in the newly governed economic model. We have a difference of opinion regarding multipolar and unipolar structures. What I see is viable is a unipolar infrastructure made by the natural relationship between a government and its economy – both of which are organic entities (more details below). A nation that implements this well makes itself attractive to other nations.

Letting demand and supply determine prices in an economy at liberty to develop along naturally occurring, warm guangxi links, and relying on real currency, lets us have deflation again thereby lowering prices without excessive government interference. Neither a borrower nor a lender be. Private property exists. We agree that there are values that grow civilizations: honesty (which differs from transparency), integrity, positively constructive results, responsibility and accountability, and joyful fulfillment of self-expression in an environment that has liberty and support for that. This environment has a natural absence of depression and is peaceful, with peace defined as a world that works for everyone and everything in it.

Rather than ever bailing out anyone, going forward let’s instead give scholarships based on work done to date and a clear assessment of the next work to be done and implemented. This way, government and other generous entities in the functional economy are at liberty to provide support when that support is merited without re-creating the pyramid of expectations and borrowed certainty that is about to collapse.

First, we are human. Failed economic models failed in part due to dishonest practices, in part due to a clear absence of mathematics in some pet economic theories, and most noticeably due to the presence of daft daydreams and notions regarding what humans are and what humans permit to have done to them. Seen properly, humans are predatory animals – yes, of course we are nice, friendly and all that romantic stuff, it’s beautiful.
Unfortunately, overmuch of humanity is still holding fast to archaic notions of truth, with predictable and detrimental consequences in their lives. At best, with full honesty and a clear conscience, the most we have access to sharing through language is partial truth. Whatever happened, when we offer a narrative account (or summary) of what happened, saying all the valid multiple interpretations simultaneously is unformable in language, and consequently what we say at our most honest is partial truth which lends itself very easily (via honesty) to being simultaneously reality and illusion. A master of simultaneous illusion and reality – which is available only via full honest disclosure such that one’s conscience is always clear – narrative accounts of human truisms such as what is available in Lord of the Flies or in traditional economics texts is insufficiently sophisticated to hold my attention. It is in this context appropriate to share a mathematical result implemented in our world by the Borweins and myself in spring 1996, and obviously some misunderstandings and inadequate implementations of our work are being played out on the world stage (by the way, these unsatisfactory applications are currently theft in the sense of absence of attribution to and appropriate payment to the original authors), whence the context for sharing herein our original result.
Consider: what is real and how do you know?
Initial and naïve responses refer to tangibility, measurability and repeatability. The scientific method is dependent upon binary logic for its existence and binary logic has demonstrated its failure to exist except as a valid and cooperative subset of ternary logic. Economic theories that are mathematically invalid do fail to exist, as the past few centuries’ promise-to-pay fantasy currency has adequately demonstrated. All ideology is fantastical illusion without physical anchor in reality and is appropriately labeled fiction, due to the fact that each ideology is absent of the mathematical structures it requires to exist. Political economics without mathematics is analogous to an eighty story concrete building without steel: doomed to certain collapse.

Reality is this:
Consistent with both the real and complex planes, R2 and C, reality has four quadrants of constructed existence:
Quadrants one to four are labeled Q1 through to Q4 and the frequently overlooked position is the origin which does exist. All that is, exists via its co-existence agreements: this holds in physics and in language which understood correctly is a collection of meaning agreements.

Rubin’s famous painting of the vase very well illustrates that negative-space constructions do exist in physical reality. Nothing is what there is to say in fulfillment of the purpose of what is constructed at the origin. Statements having multiple valid interpretations, and extremely obviously omitted statements, are the tools by which constructions in negative-space conversations are made – like windows and doors in walls. That which is constructed in Q3 has the following observed and implemented properties:
- It does not exist in Q1, it does not exist in Q2, and it does not exist in Q4 – most importantly, observe there is no evidence of existence of that which is constructed in Q3.
- That which is constructed in Q3 does exist in physical, measurable and observable reality as given by language and by co-existence agreements, and consequences of its existence are manifest in Q1 and Q2.

Three humans are required to develop and implement a Q3 construction having physical consequence in Q1 and Q2: two (amply competent in multivalue multivariate multiply interpretable communication) construct in Q3 and the third – who is a witness having ample capacity to see constructions in Q3 – responds (i.e.: implements consequences) to the Q3 construction in positive space. This level of sophisticated construction exceeds in power all current black ops work, all current government work, and all current fiction including ideologies and money. Thus, theft of this by thugs was predictable and reprehensible, and identifying the best home for further development of this work (plus completing that relocation) is critically important to humanity and thus to life on Earth (given humanity’s impact on life, easily observable and measurable). Jonathan Borwein confirmed existence of a construction in Q3 formed by Peter Borwein and Jennifer Overington during the Organic Math Project held in Vancouver, Canada, during December 1995.

We have within each of us, we may say in our genes or in our biology, that which is our potential self-expression, available when we enter the world, to be made kenetic and fully realized. I call this who we already-automatically are. And then we meet the world which has available for us a wide selection of scripts that give us the roles we may fulfill. Inside of who we already-automatically are, there is a fast-acting selective process (in English, we would classify the associated verb as stativ - some say choose, some say decide, some say opt, some say will, some express volition - whatever, it happens in far less than one second) via which we accept some of the scripts we meet, reject some of the scripts we meet, are neutral to some of the scripts we meet.. and for traditionally many of us, that is who we are for the rest of our lives. The potential which gets expressed in the script selection process transfers to kenetic and the rest remains as potential. From this arises the poetic quotes along the lines of who we are meeting who we might have been. (Reference: Michael Overington and myself, developed in private conversation, 1985-2003.).
The term ‘potential self-expression’ indicates available plasticity understood in the sense that a neuron in its natural location in a human brain has plasticity: atrophied connections have the capacity to reconnect, but total relocation of the neuron throughout the brain, through willynilly external management, is probably certain to fail.

Social deviance: the ability to edit scripts such that new scripts are introduced and fulfilled and some traditional scripts are selectively deleted such that the absence of their fulfillment is what is available. (Reference: Rick Hadden and myself, private conversation with frequent reference made to Hegel’s work more so than other relevant contributors, 1989-1991.)
What are scripts? There is a job in all our human societies by various titles which we recognize as being a conservationist of private property. The particular job changes title depending on how it is constructed - in military, private hire, agency - and how much it costs - is it conserving government or private property and so forth. The role is similar, training is similar, and good candidates are similar. One way (I’m sure there are others) to speak of these similarities is to refer to the script (character description, role) that is fulfilled by a human who has volunteered to conserve an item of property - whether the property is his own, someone else’s, the nation’s. I prefer to refer to this acknowledgment of a patterned role in society - sufficiently abstract so as to transcend culture and to retain sufficient mathematical accuracy - as a script.
Another pair of scripts is: teacher, student.
Governance models that block or make unavailable the transfer of our potential expression to our kenetic expression are governance models that practice what they do with insufficient understanding of human nature and which in effect (unintentionally or otherwise) block or thwart human expression and development within their nation, in a manner that is antithetical to being alive (whence predictable negative consequence on the ecology).
Apparent hubris in the phrase ‘with insufficient understanding of human nature’ alters state between real and illusory depending on the particular individual government model, history and implementation one has in mind. Recalling the year-king government models of our ancient past, is it hubris to say that women insisting upon voluntary alpha male self-sacrifice were demonstrating some measurable absence in their understanding of human nature? And yet, there are some other more modern government models amply capable of demonstrating my same phrase as excessively prideful. That is the manner in which the hubris you responded to may be deemed by you to exist or to be illusory.
A pertinent and factual illustration:
The product of two imaginary entities is both real and imaginary. Specifically, each individual entity has its real and imaginary part. The product of these two imaginary entities, each of which has a real and an imaginary component, in turn has a real and an imaginary component. The real component of the product is the difference between the product of the real component of each individual entity and the product of the imaginary component of each individual entity. The imaginary component of the product is the sum of the product of the real component of one individual entity with the imaginary component of the other, and the product of the imaginary component of one individual entity with the real component of the other.
To paraphrase, very simply: (a+bi)(c+di) = (ac - bd) + (ad + bc)i.
This illustrates the availability of mathematical and communication talent to cut the stuff in philosophy and economics, and to bring interesting clarity to Physics and Politics with many warm, affectionate feelings. Religion, serving its purpose, is cultural storytelling.

Those of us who have much practice thinking in terms of mathematics do see patterns that are easily communicated in patterns and sometimes difficult to communicate in plain, ordinary English for non-mathematical audiences, as illustrated above. From this, clearly we conclude that:
1. Increased environmental access for me to communicate with mathematically literate people well versed in physics and politics results almost immediately in accuracy, increased content shared, absence of distracting idealism, and less absence or omission of clarity.
2. Education reform includes teaching humans how to think before they complete grade 10.

In 1995-6, presented with the unique option of being unhappily force to work for, and to contribute my mind to, organized predatory criminals of a highly offensive nature, first I offered them the diplomatic solution of stopping and they rejected that option then increased their very stupid and short-sighted force upon me, so then I willfully abstained from contributing to them in any manner whatsoever (cerebral, genetic) while maintaining the appearance of being a friendly idiot (similar to them) in order to survive alongside them, and while there was an absence of other viable alternatives, my abstention from the world remained a valid and adult response to those circumstances. In fact, actively saying no to reprehensible circumstances creates the resistance that makes the repulsive circumstances stronger. Please observe how very many smart and logical people have volunteered themselves to the same active abstinence in which I have lived much of my life: computer software which is based on binary thinking (and will be ternary) is breaking down more and faster than it used to. Elevators are less well programmed than they used to be. Some bridges under construction are found to be one degree off target (whoops) and cost a lot to rebuild, gosh.
In Ayn Rand’s language: every brain drain serves its purpose. In religion: the origin. In philosophy, sociology and economics: the elusive, nebulous middle or third concept.
In math, physics and engineering: 0.
The global economy is best understood as a living entity with each of us as its neurons - an effective model which enables clearer understanding of what each competent government aims to.. “manage”.. The past century has given us ample examples of the highly probable and predictable results of aiming to manage an angry tiger by the tail, for example: catastrophic failure. Once we understand that the unique global economy is fully alive, by virtue of the fact that each human participant in the economy is fully alive, then we see quickly that traditional terms like manage and control are archaic notions and that an entirely different skill in governance is required.
That which is alive has volition. Arising from this volition, there is self-expression. A bioentity appropriately mastered / husbanded / kept / loved (other suitable verbs are available) retains the experience of being at liberty to express and develop itself naturally, and is conserved from waste and expense.
The market exists in the living minds of living humans and it exists in our conversations and in our co-existence agreements. Just as the ecosystem is organic, so is the economy. The economy, recognized as an organic entity, has the aggregate volition of the individual volition of each human mind engaged in the conversation that we label ‘the economy’. The economy has the aggregate self-expression and development potential of the collection of individual human minds engaged in the conversation that we label ‘the economy’. Thus the economy is available to be mastered / husbanded / kept / loved and in this manner developed to let its potential self-expression be made kinetic – and that is precisely the unique correct relationship between a government and its economic market.
The key insight here is seeing that the economy is an organic entity. Then obviously we will do well to develop it as a tiger cub rather than as an exercise in fantasy and fiction. (Reference: me, thesis material, Biological, outline -1 in distribution, written in spring 2009)
We are finally in possession of sufficient tools to respond constructively to:

We may speak of any non-zero risk taken as a form of gambling, regardless of its location. While there is a traditional risk formula in circulation, it pertains to binary assessments in Q1, and omits both zero-risk and the observation that some affairs are clearly high risk with low available gain. There are two ways to have zero-risk: do nothing IOR act with accuracy. (IOR is the inclusive or operator.)
Addressing systemic failure, this is mathematically trivial: that which clearly has absence of formation in all quadrants of reality – including the axes and origin – ceases to exist in language and in physics.
Strengthening economic and social welfare causes the weakening of economic and social welfare to exist in counterbalancing co-existence agreements. Analogously, increased military shields and missiles obviously increases corresponding (i.e.: opposing, responding) missile strength, intelligence and quantity – this is incredibly obvious. Hoarding of wealth caused hoarding of debt: currency, the economy’s blood, flows in healthy circumstances, therefore absence of flow is symptomatic of absence of health. Therefore, rather than increase economic and social stagnation, absence of health and premature death, let us instead focus on ensuring sustainability.
In Biological, I introduce our own brains as an adequate model economy and in this analogy, each human is represented as one neuron – we have the capacity to alternatively represent ourselves as volitional programmable logic devices, according to whichever analogy provides utility in the moment. Descriptions of this are amply provided in Biological drafts -1 and 0, and in the Reason Project Forums available to everyone online. Sustainability is caused by implementing the model provided by the analogy that we humans are neurons in one brain, having one whole mind composed of three personalities: the left hemisphere, the right hemisphere and the rapid and accurate emotional center.

Failure in previously implemented security systems is entirely due to traditional confusion between monopoly and ubiquity. The oil cartel holds a monopoly, mathematics is ubiquitous. Coke and Pepsi are a duopoly which, perceived correctly is the monopoly that lets some humans forget about milk, juice, water and other healthy options. Duopolies are monopolies that have the illusion of optional selection while having the real absence of optional selection. Ubiquitous constructions are simply part of what is, and are in support of polyopoly. With respect to the previous statement that a unipolar model is what is viable, mathematically astute readers (including the Borweins and Vladimir Putin) see that unipolar polyopoly in ubiquitous mathematical solutions has absence of contradiction. Specific to implementing targeted deletions (subject to proof of unformable existence) and other editing procedures:
- monopolies fail to exert control and observably only increase resistance,
- a correct and effective ratio of editing to absence of editing in a whole population is strictly under 4%. This causes desired disruption and raises the cost of doing that business which has been identified for deletion, therefore many in the business consequently and voluntarily change careers.

Another aspect of security is the observation that acceptance and rejection replace antiquated notions of truth and falsehood. Of co-existence agreements, worthy of emphasis is that there are strong agreements and there are weak agreements. Strong agreements are exemplified by exhausting lists of criteria that form choke holds yet fail to exhaust all viable options. Weak agreements are exemplified by the presence of what is said and the absence of contradiction, thereby causing incredible positive levels of mutual flexibility, stability, partnership, growth and friendship. Weak humans select for strong agreements, strong humans select for weak agreements.

The values framework I mentioned above in response to Vladimir Putin’s speech at Davos last year, together with his editing capacity, is already created and suffices to get the job done. Constructing effective organizations is one of Vladimir Putin’s well-developed skills that holds me in awe, therefore I defer to him in this. This is my full response to the Thematic Pillars of the World Economic Forum 2010 and what follows are illustrative examples in response to popular media – best understood as a sequence of disconnected examples fulfilling the purpose of illustration.

Example 1, terrorism: overblown hype and a label applied to almost every activity under the sun (therefore rendered meaningless), for the purpose of aiming to manage the masses via fear, I recently demonstrated convincingly to Vladimir Putin the astounding lengths that an ordinary citizen must – in this ridiculous environment – go to in order to effectively say, “Hi, I have some private property of yours that you want to have returned to you.” As the diaper bomber has recently demonstrated, there is an existing fissure in American intelligence and global security, and due to the monopoly of body scanner implementation, the next would-be violent terrorist will respond to the scanners by walking into an airport with a grenade taped to his forehead and a flashing neon sign that says “bomb”. What remains to be seen is the current security systems’ ability to discern whether the next would-be violent terrorist – with an openly carried grenade and flashing neon sign – is a threat before or after the grenade explodes. All of this is 100% consistent with the mathematical solution given above. Understood properly, would-be terrorists are real, ordinary people who are doing their best to get into communication inside this ridiculous environment – some are more skilled than others. To what extent was CIA-trained Osama Bin Laden as surprised as I was the day the towers fell in New York? People doing their best to survive while oppressed do communicate, sometimes unpredictably, and sometimes unconventionally. Intending and trying to control the masses via inducing fear is a daft and expensive mistake having grave consequences. The emotion that works in mass husbandry is love. Good relations cause increased absence of threat.

Example 2: sustainable human global population is whatever we get through compassionately implementing our optimized ubiquitous mathematical solution. It is therefore appropriate to focus attention on the appliances we use in our homes (110 V AC, 12 V DC), how we power our homes and factories, how we transport ourselves, our fuel (a significant part of the lifeblood of our economy) and our goods, how much rainwater we gather per household and how much water we consume per household and per enterprise. Consumption and production with their net per capita expense on the biosphere, determines the sustainable human global population.

Example 3: rape – There are many examples in the media these days of territorial disputes. These are all analogous to rape and pillage including when the specific action is omitted. Consider, for example, the Laotian situation: during the Vietnam conflict there was a lot of activity in Laos. I’m not saying that the Hmong didn’t fight on behalf of America represented by the CIA in exchange for a promised land the availability of which has these past many decades been elusive. Recently, beloved Thailand participated in forced Hmong repatriation, the Laotian government has amply demonstrated sophisticated and modern communication skills, Vietnam recognizes itself in a causal existence reality agreement with Laos, and China was considering developments in Laos that would have predictably proven themselves to be equivalent to pillaging the biosphere (in that region). There is a remarkably prosperous future available for Laotians and co-resident, happy and healthy Hmong, via implementing Laos as an environmentally friendly crossroads in support of trade throughout the local area. Both China and Russia are adept at this sort of implementation, and two pivotal representatives of the Hmong are available for open and productive communication with everyone who has a stake in this positive outcome. This territorial dispute is very easily resolved.

Example 4: Health insurance makes sickness a commodity here in America and Americanized places. The mitigating factor that I experienced in both France and Taiwan is that healthy practices are so very much part of the culture that in spite of the practice of insurance, health is still the commodity. But it is culture that fills that gap and tips that balance. While living in the UK as here, I was outside the system so my health plan was exactly Alan Grayson's joke: omit sickness or die quickly. In other words, my health plan here is zero-risk, as is consistent with what trees, rabbits and neurons do. It is productive to continue to question the validity of continuing the existence of insurance. Insurance, designed to mitigate non-zero risk, seems mathematically valid but exists in the biosphere exclusively in human conversation, and has effectiveness subject to cultural content.

Example 5: Government taxation of toxic products – we may discuss alcohol but also include in our thoughts other slow and fast acting toxins on the current market (in any part of constructed reality). A reasonably smart intention is for government to try to curb citizens’ desire for alcohol by taxing it where it is made – at the plants – and this does omit the production of fake products which is a desired result. However, government taxation of toxins gets the result that the toxins become commodities and the government becomes dependent on the income from commoditized toxins. This is hardly a healthy relationship between a government and its economy, and the masses in its economy; rather it is analogous to the relationship between a pimp, his hookers and their customers – ick! A brilliant government has redirection of cash flow via goods (i.e.: healthy products) and is disruptive to bads (i.e.: toxic products) via placebos ( < 4%).

Example 6: Organically and mathematically downsizing bureaucracy is done by implementing projects and only projects. All the people who have a job in the bureaucracy are on an active project and all the people who are on an active project have a job. The notion of employment is antiquated. Projects have specific results deliverable in eight to 12 months from initiation. Seen properly, humans are predatory animals. Those institutions that cause us to be bovine are designed by a particular type of predator. Gamblers and merchants are the same: excited by non-zero risk.

Example 7: Implementing flat hierarchy organically and mathematically starts with having the aforementioned correct relationship between a government and its economy. Appeals to authority (a logical fallacy) from staff happen more so when there is indeed a strong authority available at the top of a conical hierarchy. Decisions made by government must be implemented throughout the organization, and staff who omit implementation, under-implement, implement something completely different, or who excessively implement such that government’s disappointment is obtained, are communicating one of:
- laziness or ineptitude,
- absence of understanding,
- valid and intelligent objection that has been oppressed – reducing opportunity and thereby strengthening their will to voice (with variable ability) their objective view.
Off the record interviews with these staff proves fruitful and retains the discretionary option of rapid, disciplinary action.

Example 8: There is an asteroid approaching a near miss with Earth and this has raised conversation regarding how to conserve our biosphere from expensive events. While a combination of previous suggestions may be viable, in addition to considering cost and whether a despot can use the technology invented to threaten the human population on Earth into submission, a new suggestion in the conversation is: Are we able to construct solar degradable film on a solar-degradable frame that initially turns sunlight into a laser which is aimed at the asteroid, and when the project of asteroid deterrence is complete, sufficiently rapidly degrades into dust in space so as to be unavailable for alternatives to its originally intended purpose?

Example 9: Power: the art of narration, mastering reality such that desired results are obtained with velocity. Ambiguity: potential or kenetic power. Agreement: Potential power not transferred to kenetic decreases with time (no hoarding principle). Aspects to discuss going forward: definition of money (see next paragraph), collections and distributions of goods and services, relations, intelligence (data and skill), strategic skill, food, water, military (strategic reduction), technology and position creation. Our reproduction of our resource bases will be congruent with David Suzuki's vision of making only that which is available for recycling & reusing: humanity will have zero ecological footprint – obviously therefore Japanese whaling and dolphin hunting will disappear. This author regrets at present that due to western media’s preoccupation with western interests in the Afghan-Pakistani region, she has been excessively uninformed regarding the region’s very real and historical relations with its local power: India.
