Bumps In The Night

She heard a noise come up the stair.
It stopped her heart and stood up her hair.
Should check it out, but didn't dare.
Yelled in fright, "Now, who is there?"

Went downstairs when it got light.
What she saw gave her a fright,
But soon the fear turned to delight.
She was looking at a glorious sight.

The clean, dry clothes were folding themselves.
Could it be the laundry elves?
Hope they take them up the stairs and(can't rhyme here)
Put away the clothes upon the shelves.
