The Tiny Geisha
She sat on a dahlia, opening and closing, torn black and orange, kimono-like wings, like tiny paper fans. Slowly and carefully, lifting her delicate legs, as if in timeless dance. Not knowing her time was almost over. And yet she dances, unfolding and folding, slowly and deliberately. How confident, for one so small. If only we could be, so bold and brave. by: Kimarie Manhart-Freeman
