The untold victim
        by Adrianna  (adrianna@Writing.Com)
She awoke into darkness. Slowly her eyes adjusted to the surroundings. A luminous green liquid oozed from a crevice in the corner of the ceiling, casting a gentle glow on the brickwork below. She was trapped in some kind of dungeon. A cold breeze blew in from somewhere sending a shiver down her spine.

Her ankle was trapped in a rusty old shackle and she had been left in nothing but her nightdress. She poked at the bloody crust that had formed over the wound she sustained when he grabbed her. Despite her best efforts she had lost, and now all she could do was wait for him to come and finish the job.

A door creaked open sending shadowy light into the room, and he entered. Bathed in bloody glory he loomed over her. His pale face reached down to hers, at first she screamed, but his hand cupped her mouth and twisted her head to the side. Her last vision was of the dripping grey walls as his teeth sunk into her neck and drank her dry.

This cell was now her home, for eternity.
