Urdu:  Phir kis andaaz say bahaar aaie
          Keh huay mehr o meh tamaashaaie

English:=== O with great fanfare the spring is here
                  And the moon and the stars are coming to cheer
                                            -

Urdu:  Daekho aey saakinaan e khitta e khaak
          Is ko kehtay haen aalamaaraaie

English:=== The bounty of God you cannot deny
                  Oh, what a beautiful way to beautify
                                              -

Urdu:  Keh zameen ho gaie hay ser ta ser
          Rookash e sath e charkh e meenaaie

English:=== With splendor the earth is flying high
                  It has become as dazzling as the glamorous sky
                                              -

Urdu:  Sabzay ko jab kaheen jageh na mili
          Ban gaya roo e aab per kaaie

English:=== It's bright, and beautiful, and happy, and gay
                  And everything is green, and gone is the gray
                                                -

Urdu:  Hay hawa maen sharaab ki taaseer
          Baadanoshi hay baadpaimaaie
 
English:=== The breeze is bursting with the fragrance divine
                  And the air is drunk with the smell of wine
                                                -

Urdu:  Kuin na dunya ko ho khushi GHALIB
          Shaah e deendaar nay shafaa paaie

English:=== And it's so great for the commonwealth
                  That the king has, GHALIB, regained his health
