I am mystified, in this obscure situation,
Being torn left and right by my own feelings,
Suffering from whiplash, I try to reassemble my thoughts,
The decision is clear, but I cannot let go,
Of this overpowering force that binds my lips,
I need to speak up and tell you,
But my tongue is paralyzed,
Opportunity has knocked so many times,
Yet I sit here and think and do not answer,
I have known you for a very short time,
Yet I long to be with you,
My strong feelings could scare you away,
And this makes me hesitate,
It is baffling to try to tell you something,
That I myself do not fully understand,
In this obscure situation, I am mystified.
