MY MIND HAS CHANGED Driving fast and squealing rubber, Is how I got my kicks When I became a licensed driver, Back in nineteen fifty six Live real fast and love real hard, Leave that beautiful memory Is what I thought back then, I wanted most for me The years were passing slowly I guess that’s the way it seems, When your life of education, Is only half way through your teens By the time I was in my Twenty’s Things had changed a lot for me I was a Sergeant in the army, With a lot of responsibility I won’t bother you with other years, Or life’s education gained Just to say there has been sunshine, And sometimes it has rained Now I like to live and love real slow, And as for leaving a memory; I only hope somewhere, sometime, Somebody thinks of me So my friend if your reading this, You’ll see my thinking rearranged Throughout my years of living, Oh, how my mind has changed ![]()
