I once saw a man,
Lying in the street.
He lay there for weeks and weeks.
I drove by one dark day and looked down,
He looked back up at me and told me he was waiting...
Waiting for the one.
The one to find him when he needed her most.

I saw a man once,
Lying in the street,
For weeks and weeks,
I drove by one dark day and looked down,
I looked back up at myself.

I lay on the street once,
Not moving for weeks and weeks.
A girl drove by one day,
I looked up at her,
She smiled and said she was here for me.

I saw the sky Turn bright one day,
That sky hasnt turned any other color since.
"Take my hand" she said,
I was led to the doors of the rest of my life,
Golden, pearl gates opened up and there i stood,
No longer on the road, but in a place i can breathe.
