Repeat Performance
As I was walking down the street A bottle of water I chanced to meet It lay at the curb looking sad and forlorn A drink would be nice to counter this heat. I picked it up and looked at the label And chanced to glance at the nutrition table. In bold print were written the side effects - 'Youth will be restored but will not remain stable.' Well heck, I thought that’s not so bad To be young again will not make me sad. I took a swig and to my surprise I was once again just a little tad. My surprise continued and I got a nudge When I sat in my diaper containing some fudge The downward spiral continued I fear The next thing I knew I could not budge. I was once again a gleam in his eye I knew in an instant what that would imply, So back to the process of ovum and sperm I’ll never drink water from a bottle, I cry. Many years did pass and as I walked down the street A bottle of water I chanced to meet It lay at the curb looking sad and forlorn A drink would be nice to counter this heat.
