Man The Lifeboats
Poetry from random places...

Swirling mist in a sea of madness, buried deep within my mind

Hidden truths and secret sadness lying deep for you to find.

Complex, controlled yet running wild, a walking contradiction

You take my hand and call to me, begging me to listen.

The words you speak are soft yet strong, engraved within my mind

The crashing waves are fading as we leave all trace of land behind.

Drowning in your undertow, swimming for the shore.

Man the life boats, set the sail, it's time to kill or cure.

Carry me to higher land

Away from cold dark night

You promised me eternity

Hands grasped together tight.

Eternity it never came, the waves are crashing still

Stormy waters pull me down but you no longer will.
