Fall Just Fell

Looking back, I can’t remember every season of Fall,

However, most, I do recall,

Some were dry and hot,

Several, I recall, were wrought,

With splendid colors of various hues,

That sparked my interest as they did enthuse,

My joy of the beauty that season did display,

Oft times the leaves issued a wonderful bouquet,

many colors seen only at this time of year,

For it was only then did they appear,

For all to enjoy for a short time,

To observe such beauty was a pleasure of mine.

Having aged over the years, I look back now,

I feel so lucky, somehow,

To have shared in God’s beauty and splendor,

I feel so fortunate that I could remember,

How each and every Fall, He helped to remind,

Beauty is always easy to find,

One must look for it at every opportunity,

In His world of nature, it is constantly friendly,

To those of us who look for the beauty,

For all those gifts presented by the Almighty!
