Forgotten
I had friends once...were they really?

There's not much left of those I've known;
shadows now forever roam.
Forgotten breaths where once was life;
an image from a time of strife.

All the games and wine we drank-
hunting time has claimed its stake.
Once was many, now are few,
gone amid the morning dew.
