It Fell for Winter
A tree shakes mostly nude in an autumn wind. A lone leaf abides. It strives against each gust, thrashing about from one side to another but holds. Hours of torment and struggle leaves the leaf hanging by its last bit of strength. A snowflake flutters down from above to bring the leaf to its brothers.
