My grandfather's word for what my grandmother would do to him if he left his wallet lying around. A verb in this case. He nicknamed her "Mooch" because of it. She would answer to the name, like she'd been born to it, and laugh about his complaints over being "clipped".

Added: He knew what she was when he got with her, and loved her for her brass and nerve.
