The Age Factor
Something none of us can hide from.

The one remaining constant in life
is the fact that we get older.
Even with cosmetic surgery ops
becoming ever bolder.

There's implants, lipo and botox
making us look so young.
Procedures for face-lifts and tummy tucks
where once the loose skin hung.

For our teeth there's crowns and veneers
to give us a wonderful smile.
The fashion houses churn out all sizes
so that everyone can dress with style.

We live in a world where people
feel if it's wrong, get a quick fix.
And it isn't made any easier
by all the fabulous, celebrity pics.

When will we grow old gracefully?
Just like we used to do.
The advantage of growing old gracefully?
It doesn't involve a fee.
