Four Years and Nine Months Ago
A piece about my dad and how I feel toward him.

Oh Dad, where does the time go?
I don't know for sure but it does go pretty fast.
I know I love you today and will go on loving you.
The holidays are almost here again.
This month is now November.
I miss you so very much.
I long to be where you are so I could see you.
I know it isn'tpossible for me to see you now but wish I could.
There is so much I would love to say to you.
There is so much I would love to do to show my love to you.
I am unable to do any of it now as I had hoped.
You are the greatest Dad I could have had and I love you for being the man
you were to me.
There are innumerable things that I remember and that bring a smile on my face.
Oh to be with you for one hour would be such a life changing event for me.
I believe that you are in Heaven just like Mom is.
I believe you are going to one day be riding a white horse.
I believe that you are going to have a place picked out by God for you to rule over.
I never thought of you as being a king but you will be that one day.
I know that Heaven is the place where I wish to be and am going there by Jesus' blood.
I realize that it will be the only reason why I am there or will be there.
There is much to be gained from being a Christian and I am glad to say I am one.
There are alot of I's in this piece but feel that it is the right thing to say.
How I love you, Dad and always will.
