River Battle
An old poem of mine
Rated:

by
Avg Rating: (2)
River rushes to the battle
Stone and rock stand firm
Water’s nearly endless troups
Dash themselves on the ramparts
Shards everywhere
The roar of battle consumes
Continuing through the seasons
Ice and rain the combatants ignore
Time is meaningless
The river breaches the defences
Continues its march to the sea
