The Nothingness
A poem about a creature named The Nothingness

He was someone no one saw
No one saw that he was someone
As they walked...
Just walked on their way
He stood there among them
Isolated in almost every way
Not one glance, invisible

And though he was alone
He was not lonely...
He had always been on his own
And today was the same as yesterday
Once he had shed tears
But now he stood strong and tall
A small smile locked upon his face

Sure, he was not known
... but no one understood
How great invisibility truly was
To be seen without being saw
To exist without existing...
He was the man who was not
His name was The Nothingness

Never there had been a moment
That The Nothingness had not existed
And in this long forever
He Who Was Not Seen
Learned to use his eyes
Always watching, always there
Hiding in the midst of everywhere
