You were yellow.
So warm and happy,
Safe and innocent.
Your smile beaming sunlight,
Screaming friendship,
Bellowing confidence
You were blue.
Blue like the skies that dance around your head.
Blue like the inner ocean pooling from your eyes,
So calm and reserved,
You wanted the world.
You were green.
So fresh and alive,
Full of growth,
Every sprout you touched flourished beneath you.
You turned red.
Dripping with the blood and pain,
Of my heart you so mercilessly,
Tore open
You were purple.
Offering apologies,
In a single purple orchid,
I'll forever leave behind.
