Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my distinct pleasure to introduce to you, McWosey. Her user name is an adaptation of a nickname her niece used to call her. We know her, here at the Paper Doll Gang, as Copper.
Copper grew up in the town of Sandakan in Malaysia. She has grown into a beautiful woman who speaks three different languages. Copper has spent most of her adult life raising her four children and being a loving wife to William, her husband of 35 years. Copper's life has been graced with a new daughter-in-law and a lovely grandson. Copper now cares for her elderly mother-in-law who has suffered from a stroke. Her unselfish and astute nature was notable as she spoke about getting a dog named Copper, who not only provided healing therapy for her ailing mother-in-law, but to herself as well.
Copper joined WDC in August. She came upon the website when she googled 'writing'. When asked what her experience with WDC has been like thus far, Copper responded with words such as soul mates, motivation, and addiction, (insert laugh here). I think there is more than one WDC addict here. Should we start a support group?
When asked what her favorite genre was, Copper replied that she enjoys reading Thrillers, Spiritual, Self Help items, and Romance. She still has not decided what genre she prefers 'writing'. I am sure it will come to her as she spreads her wings on WDC.
Copper Is My Paper Doll Pal, and I have enjoyed being partnered with her. I have learned she values the group for helping her learn to navigate this site. Her boost in confidence shows as she completes challenges, enters contests, and does her required reviewing. She has shared with me that the group has really helped spark her creativity.
I asked Copper if she could pick one song to describe herself and her life, what would it be. She said, “I have a dream by ABBA. My dream motivates me. It helps me cope with reality. I find joy in fairy tales where I find angels. It helps me appreciate nature, life and all the lessons it brings. It fills my days and nights."
I think hearing that song would reveal the heart and soul of a beautiful woman. (plays song)
