During recess at my elementary school, I had not been select- ed for any of the "pick-up" softball or football teams. I was 9 years old, 4' tall, weighed 60 pounds, and was asthmatic. I decided to walk around the playing fields, to observe the act- ivity. Someone else was also walking around, followng ME. This was a boy, 14 or 15 years old, with blonde, crewcut hair, a muscular build, and a menacing demeanor. The other children called him "Frankenstein." and gave him a wide berth. Unfortunately for me, I failed to steer clear of "Frankenstein." Instantly, he was upon me. He hooked his left arm around my throat, and began pulling me toward a secluded section of the playing field. I attempted to elicit help from any teacher or staff person I saw. However, with "Frankenstein's" arm around my windpipe, I could not cry out. No one intervened on my be- half. All the way to our destination, my assailant kept telling me that I was going to "suck" him. When we arrived at the fencline bor- dering the cesspool, he made me lie on my back. He unzipped my pants, and masturbated me. Next, he straddled my chest, produced his member, and forced me to open my mouth. He entered me, and began rocking back and forth. He held his large left hand on my throat, and said, "If you bite, I'll kill you." While my tormenter had his way with me, I could hear my class mates (just out of sight), laughing and cheering. I noted how beautiful the sky was, with a friendly sun and an enormous bank of white clouds, looking down upon my humiliation. By the end of my ordeal, I was gasping, wheezng, and trying not to swallow. The tension of the moment, my attacker's weight on my chest, and my restrcted airway, comined to trigger an asthma attack. For a short period of time, I thought that I was going to die. I hoped that I would, indeed, pass from this world. At least I would not have to face the aftrmath of my on-going ordeal. The end-of-recess bell finally rang. "Frankenstein" got up, and started to walk away. After a few steps, he turned, pointed at me, and said, "If you tell anyone about this, I'll kill you." He need not have worried. I had no intention of telling ANYONE about THAT! This is the first time that I have about that dreadful inci- dent, for eyes other than mine.
