Reflection Gone
When life is overwhelming and the world is blurred

Avg Rating: (1)
Reflection gone, distortion remains.
Dreams skewed in timeless lines.
Life blurs between right and wrong.
Future and past mesh a frightening web.

Soul wavers on brink of insanity.
To fight or succumb, I’m lost in choice.
Wings of my angel, darkened and bleak.
Saviors fall silent as I weep.

Water beckons, promises chanted.
Swallowing my strength or cleansing me?
I’ve lost myself, searching for more.
Where is the child of hope and faith?

Life betrays my beating heart,
coolness tempts calloused feet.
Pushing forward, holding back.
Eyes downcast, cryptic prayers,
show me my face once again.

Lead me home or bury my mind.
Looking for existence is killing me.
Replenish my desire, or let blood drip dry.
Hold the mirror and let me see the true -
reflection that is me.
