Loved That Disco

When the world was young
I walked barefoot
Underneath a canopy of
Thorns

Carried something
Unbearable then
And
Now

At once (twice?)
It became an urge
Of Life and
Death

Rainforested shag carpet
Dancing to the beat
Of 70s disco
My saving grace
