The path you take
A poem. ^^

A faint echo can be heard,
It's far away from home
But still so close, it hurts
You see the sign of God
Just below your feet
You walk like you know where you're going
But you don't know what you need
A miracle is what you're waiting for

Walk through the door
And see the horrors beyond it
Don't dare to ask more
You can't comprehend it
Share with me my pain inside
My agony fades to oblivion
While you try to hide
Your feelings from me

Hatred consumes your thoughts
You turn a blind eye to rules
Society be damned
You don't care about it at all
Just let it out and leave it be
Let it destroy your serenity
Sorrow will pass on the surface
And murder those in the way

You're being watched
And the watcher is me
You feel eyes on your back,
You can't find me
You start to cry,
Waiting for me to appear
But I don't think I should
Interrupt your time alone

Damned doom of decades
I feel your pain and hatred
You taught me how to live
And how to protect myself from danger
I am bound to my own soul,
That shell that's empty, filled with glass
Hit me and I will break into
A million pieces, I will shatter.
