Subsistance
My interpretation of humans in the 21st century.

Subsistance


Easily corrupted,
maladjusted and coerced.
Programmed preoccupation,
force-fed propaganda since our births.

Wrapped in their deception,
independent thoughts viewed as obscene.
Mass-produced products
of a grey diseased machine.

Each of us a carbon copy
finding bliss in our subsistence.
Humans lacking humanity;
can we justify our existence?
