Urdu:  Ibn e Meryam hua keray koie
          Maeray dukh ki dawa keray koie

English:=== She has breath of Jesus and a divine touch
                  So my asking for cure is not that much
                                          -

Urdu:  Sher o aaien per madaar sahi
          Aisay qaatil ka kya keray koie

English:=== With a simple touch she can cure your ill
                  But with a single look she can also kill
                                            -

Urdu:  Chaal jaisay karhi kamaan ka teer
          Dil maen aisay kay ja keray koie

English:=== Her brow is a bow; her glance a dart
                  She can jab, and stab, and wound your heart
                                              -

Urdu:  Baat per waan zabaan kat'ti hay
          Wo kahaen aur suna keray koie

English:=== O you should see her, whenever she talks
                  No one can speak, and everyone gawks
                                              -

Urdu:  Bak raha houn junoon maen kya kya kuchh
          Kuchh na samjhay Khuda keray koie

English:=== In a fit of madness but when I talk
                  I know it is nothing but poppycock
                                                -

Urdu:  Na suno ger bura kahay koie
          Na kaho ger bura keray koie

English:=== So if it is some evil, do not hear
                  And say good things, and do not fear
                                                -

Urdu:  Roak lo ger ghalat chalay koie
          Bakhsh do ger khata keray koie

English:=== If someone is lost, do show him the way
                  And pardon those who have gone astray
                                                -

Urdu:  Kon hay jo naheen hay haajitmand
          Kis ki haajit rawa keray koie

English:=== And try to help people who are in need
                  And be their friend and a friend indeed
                                                -

Urdu:  Kya kiya Khizr nay Sikander say
          Ab kisay rehnuma keray koie

English:=== And those who waver, help them decide
                  And show them the way, and be their guide
                                                  -

Urdu:  Jab tawaqqa hi uthh gaie GHALIB
          Kuin kisi ka gila kery koie

English:=== And GHALIB tells us don't ever complain
                  And try to smile whenever you've pain
