A gnawing uneasiness grows with every read. Not only do settings and themes overlap, back-stories, story lines and character likenesses complement each other in an unanticipated synchronicity(?) (synchronization?).

FWIW, while rereading the letter to the editor, the date seemed odd. It reads 'sometime in the near future'. The thought struck me that searches turned up empty because this collection is actually a premonition. Ha!

PITCH: Twenty-Three Pieces – Unrelated submissions to a writing contest snap together like a jigsaw puzzle. Once assembled, a larger story emerges, one of horror about to occur!  Ha! :o)
