AM I ALIVE
In the trenches of war And shadows of wire bars Where life is so far Still hope for some peace at par I can see men near and far Bleeding furiously , dodging death In such adverse conditions though Still I have my faith in peace To miles up the horizon I only see black smoke I can smell burning rubber And its all that I feel The word humanity is at its end The world is now a devil's den Fire and flesh scattered all around Bombs flying past weighing a thousand pound I just know one thing Bounded to my destiny, i may die But my fight against the odds will always keep me alive In the hearts of men and women i love In these killer fields I am not fearing death But i am loving life I cherish every moment of my life The years in the lap of my mother The years on the shoulder of my father My infancy, My teens , My adolescents My friends and my foes You all rest in peace And you know I am hit
