You told me you loved me,
And I thought your feelings mirrored my own.
I must have missed the crack in the glass
Because you vanished from my life,
Without a word, without a warning.

You obviously never loved me;
Yet you spit this lie in my face,
And then discarded me like a piece of junk.

You left me here to wonder why I give in to love
When it always ends in bitter heartache.
You left me here to drown in my own tears;
To bleed from an already broken heart.
