ASSONANCE AND CONSONANCE:

Put on the spot, I'm a nominal dot,
playing with words reminds me of snot.
My head starts to spin as I close in to win.
With a wheeze and a sneeze, though attention unsought,
“X” marks the spot… like a well timed shot.

With all eyes on me and remote feelings of glee,
embarrassment wins as I preen in my dreams.
