MAGICAL TEMPTATION!

I know I don't have all the happiness
that I truly would now like to possess!
A magic stone that would transport me high,
surpass life's trials; let me soar and fly
above the disenchanting mess I'm in
and let us start our path anew, again. .
But I know, if I face the truth head-on,
I'll soar a bunch, but this crap won't be gone!
Old boxes still unpacked; we'll barely see
other horrors awaiting you and me!!
Magical temptation is nothing but
magical thinking, our old doors are shut!
I'll stay just where I am and find our peace
to let our heart-won destiny increase.
