Dredged

Time spent in one more abandon,
Familiar dredged up past of need.
An angry belly groaning empty.
Knowledge known to know, and heed.

Rebellion waged through tears of hurt,
In worn out hat, and shoes.
So lonely without friendship.
A world alone makes destitute.

This life I've traded, handed in.
I weep for sweetness gone so grim.
Love's story gone de-throwned;
Alone to dwell on past not met to hone.

I'm finished living sorted sadness;
Branded heart was Job's to know.
Life essence scored in wait, and madness;
Bored hole in the belt, thinness moans.
