NEW PROMPT: With Thanksgiving coming up next Thursday in the USA, many Americans are preparing to gorge themselves on turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and all the other traditional delicacies. Write a story or poem about a Thanksgiving dinner without the traditional foods. YOU WANT ME TO EAT WHAT?? What IS this that you've set upon my plate?? It smells like CAT FOOD and you know I hate most cuts of meat, but like the turkey leg!! One would assume I would not have to beg to get a decent eat on turkey day!! You should feed us RIGHT; we've come a LONG way-- I found the seaweed that you put inside my mashed potatoes, and you should not hide such nasties in the food for your loved ones; you need to shoot your pumpkin pie with guns!! I love to eat this day; I eat too much-- I'll eat my turkey standing by the hutch since we are out of dining chairs, I think--- or have I just enjoyed too much to drink?? I'm not sure what to make of all this fuss; don't like this WIERD food that you've fed to us! Please warn us if you cook all this again and I'll be sure NOT to be hungry then!!
