Accelerates as my adoring eyes
And sharply crisp hearing
Become aglow and inspired
By the tranquility of your presence.
Your softly mellow, high-pitched,
Unwavering voice reciting God’s blessed
And purposeful proposition,
The words “I love you” etched
In stone in our simply furnished, close quarters.
We engage in sincere, happy conversation,
Reunited in our trusting and intimate bond.

In our casual, inelegant surroundings,
The music of our laughter, warmth,
And appreciation for each other’s company
Fills our jubilant house,
Our souls intertwined.

In our standard greeting,
