I tread softly through the water,
Attempting the maintenance of a perfect posture. Hoping I do not falter, As I feel the pressure of meeting the quota. I tread softly through the water, As I simply, seemingly, go for a saunter Through life. Leaping and lunging over any evil encounter, As if an Olympian pole-vaulter. I tread softly through the water, Reminiscent of a supporter. An aorta, life’s positive, genuine supporter. I tread softly through the water, An exhorter, of life’s fresh water. An importer of authentic laughter, I tread softly through the water. -- A. J. Stevens
