In Dreams
A musing on mortality. For mum.

For Ibu.

In dreams we live forever
in life we live a dream
and transience is never more
nor ever less
than the illusion it may seem

In dreams we may climb mountains
from mountains we may choose to fly
and death is simply
something which
in dreams we may defy

In dreams we may cross oceans
on fearless feet we walk the waves
and mortality is
nothing that
a dreamer never braves

In dreams life is eternal
the traveller is always clever
and endless night is
much defied
in dreams we live forever
