6 Oh, I’m So Lonely; I’m So Blue
O why you left I don’t have a clue And where you went I wish I knew But I do know, love, what I’ve been through Oh, I’m so lonely; I’m so blue And now in the spring when the flowers come When the bluebirds sing, and the people hum My life becomes very burdensome I feel so lonely; I feel so blue When men I see in the lovers’ lane Kissing their girls again and again In my wounded heart I feel the pain I get so lonely; I get so blue And if at night there’s heavy rain With thunder and lightning of a hurricane Without you, darling, I become insane I feel so lonely; I feel so blue So come back, baby, come back please And bring me back my peace and ease I beg you and beg you on my knees Oh, I’m so lonely; I’m so blue ====
