Self Portrait?
Grim perception in Kristi Love's Alpha Torqueo form.

A portrait of us
captures our world of
bending resolve, where
disgusting deeds and
filthy language are
etched in the culture.

Given relentless
injections of vice,
how can we survive?

Judicious restraint
left by the wayside
kindles the flames of
moral conniption
over abandoned
nurturing customs.

Polluted waters
require much more than
Quixotic bluster.

Scraping the bottom,
untended too long,
there is a need for
virtuous action.

Xanadu’s stream will
wash away naught but
zero-sum
yammer.
