NEW PROMPT: Write a short story or poem about a stranger showing up at your front door, dressed in formal evening wear, expecting a lavish party at your address! WHAT A RUDE SURPRISE!! You've shown up dressed in formal best; exactly who are you?? And, why are you here at my door? What do you want to do?? You're lookin' hungry, is that right? Who do you think you are? You've come by limo--what a fuss! Why not a NORMAL car!?! Here, we eat country-fresh ham hocks, and boiled black-eye peas; fresh-baked cornbread and cold sweet tea. You're lost as you can be! You thought we had a PARTY here--who's been telling you lies? We're now as lavish as we get, so what a rude surprise!! Please go away before we laugh and make you wish you had not made that unfortunate turn! Your GPS went bad!! Your party's up the street-now go! Redeem your misplaced fun before the eve'ning gets too late and all your fun is done!
