On the first part of the journey
I was looking at all the life There were Corn and Meat and Rice and things There was sandy things and hills and rings The first thing I met was a stomach with a burp And the sky with no clouds The heat was hot and the ground was very slimy But the air was full of sound I've been through the body of a woman with no name It felt good to get out of the rain In the Body you can’t remember your name 'Cause there ain't no one else for to give you no pain La, la ... After two days in the Body’s oven My skin began to turn red After three days in the Body’s oven I was looking at a river bed And the story it told of a river that flowed Made me sad to think I was almost dead You see I've been through the body of a woman with no name It felt good to get out of the rain In the Body you can’t remember your name 'Cause there ain't no one else for to give you no pain La, la ... After nine days She let her bowel run free 'Cause the Body had turned to sea There were Corn and Meat and Rice and things there was sandy things and hills and rings The bowel is a Tomb with no life under it And a perfect Digestion above Under the bowel lies a heart made of porcelain But the woman will give you no love You see I've been through the body of a woman with no name It felt good to get out of the rain In the Body you can’t remember your name 'Cause there ain't no one else for to give you no pain La, la ...
